VIDEO: “I Started Short Videos In Kumasi Not Kwaku Manu” – Kwame Borga Counters – Nsemkeka.com
Kumawood actor Kwame Borga, known in private life as Kendrick Osei Kwame, has boldly claimed that he is the originator of short video skits in Kumasi, not fellow actor Kwaku Manu.
Speaking on Sean City TV’s The Dice Show hosted by Ruthy, Borga did not mince words as he dismissed widely circulated claims that credit Kwaku Manu and his younger brother with pioneering the skit trend in the Ashanti Region.

According to Kwame Borga, the assertions made by Kwaku Manu and his sibling are completely false, insisting that he began producing short videos as far back as 2015.
He clarified that while filmmakers in Accra, such as Kofi Asamoah of Kofas Multimedia, had already ventured into skit production on a national scale, he was the very first to introduce the concept in Kumasi.
The actor, who has been no stranger to controversy in the past, emphasized that in the hierarchy of skit creators in Kumasi, Kwaku Manu doesn’t even feature among the first four.
“If Kwaku Manu would be honest, he would recall that when he brought his skits to Adom TV for airing, he met me there. But because he was already popular in the film industry, he received better attention,” Borga stated.
Kwame Borga further solidified his stance by referencing an interview granted by popular vlogger Poleeno of Poleeno Multimedia, who also confirmed that Borga was indeed the first to start short skits in Kumasi.
