The Plant Plug GH to host third Sip and Soil Experience on June 28 – Nsemkeka

The Plant Plug GH, Ghana’s leading urban gardening and plant lifestyle brand, is set to host the third edition of its much-anticipated Sip and Soil event this June in Accra, in partnership with Niyilor.

The unique experience offers an immersive blend of plant care education, creativity, and relaxation for plant lovers, gardening enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the therapeutic joys of nurturing greenery in today’s fast-paced world.

Scheduled for Saturday, 28th June 2025, at the tranquil Number 19 Restaurant in Accra, this year’s Sip and Soil promises a richer, more holistic programme combining plant care education with creativity, wellness conversations, and vibrant cultural expressions.

Designed for plant lovers, beginners, and anyone eager to explore the soothing benefits of plant care in modern living spaces, participants will enjoy hands-on sessions featuring self-pot painting, guided potting workshops, and lessons on soil science and sustainable gardening practices.

As they engage in these activities, guests can sip from a specially curated selection of cocktails and teas crafted exclusively for the event.

The 2025 edition also introduces a thought-provoking panel discussion covering vital themes such as mental health, sustainability, and gender equality—issues that align closely with The Plant Plug GH’s mission of promoting well-being through nature.

Guests will further enjoy a live band performance by the sensational Susan Augustt, adding a relaxing and inspiring atmosphere to the day.

According to The Plant Plug GH, the initiative is designed to make plant care fun, accessible, and therapeutic, particularly for beginners and busy urban dwellers.

“Our mission has always been to demystify plant parenting, bring people closer to nature and ultimately advocate for as many plants as possible in our living spaces,” said Ivy Enyonam, Founder of The Plant Plug GH.

Sip and Soil is positioned as a community-building experience where guests can unwind, connect with others, and leave with a living creation they can continue to nurture.

The full programme line-up includes:

• Plant care workshop

• Self-pot painting

• Art exhibition in a jungle setting

• Plant pop-up sale featuring a variety of indoor and outdoor plants

• Networking opportunities with fellow plant enthusiasts

Limited slots are available to ensure an intimate, engaging environment, and early registration is highly recommended. Each participant will leave with a potted plant and an experience to treasure for years to come.

Tickets can be purchased via The PlantPlug GH’s official website and social media platforms.
