Ghanaian filmmaker Kobi Rana has voiced strong support for Kafui Danku’s leadership at the helm of the National Film Authority, expressing optimism about the direction she’s taking.

In an interview on Adom FM, Rana commended Danku and her team for fostering inclusivity within the film sector, noting their efforts to bridge the gap between seasoned industry veterans and emerging talents.

“They just started, and I see that they are building the foundation. I see them engaging with veterans and experts,” he said.

Rana asserted that the current administration’s groundwork suggests a future of meaningful reform for Ghana’s film landscape.

“They are building a good foundation for a great journey. I believe if we give them more time, I’m 100% sure they will fix the industry,” Kobi Rana added.

Reflecting on his professional collaborations with Danku, the filmmaker highlighted her leadership skills and work ethic.

“Personally, Kafui Danku and I have been executive directors for some movies, and for her, she is a good leader, she is strict and disciplined, so I believe with her team, they would deliver,” he stated.
