SHATTA WALE DEFENDS SAMMY GYAMFI AMIDST VIRAL VIDEO CONTROVERSY – Nsemkeka
Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has fiercely defended Sammy Gyamfi, CEO of the Ghana Gold Board, who recently faced public criticism following a viral video in which he was seen giving money to evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.
In a strongly worded statement on his official Facebook page on May 12, 2025, Shatta Wale criticized those attacking Gyamfi, accusing them of ignorance regarding Gyamfi’s longstanding generosity.
“Do you all know when Sammy Gyamfi started helping the streets? All of you should shut up and leave the young man alone if you don’t know about someone’s humble beginnings. We like tarnishing people’s image too much,” Shatta Wale passionately expressed.
The controversy arose after footage circulated widely online, capturing Gyamfi handing cash in dollars to Nana Agradaa. The incident generated significant discussion and mixed reactions across social media platforms.
