Ghanaian preacher Prophet Ogyaba has once again found himself at the center of controversy after reigniting a long-standing feud with his former lover, Cassie, in a fiery exchange of curses and counterclaims on social media.

The saga, which first came to public attention in January 2025, began when Cassie accused the preacher of threatening her life and detailed an alleged romantic affair between them. She further claimed that Ogyaba had been involved in multiple scandals, including serious allegations of misconduct.

Months after the issue appeared to have died down, Prophet Ogyaba has revived the matter with a string of strong spiritual declarations. In a video circulating online, the man of God denied Cassie’s accusations and invoked curses—calling on divine forces to deal with him if the claims were true.

“If it is true that I’ve done what Cassie accuses me of, may every curse fall on me,” Ogyaba stated in Twi. “But if it’s not, may the winds carry those curses to her until she confesses the lies—beyond the affair we had.”

In an emotionally charged moment, Prophet Ogyaba went as far as declaring infertility upon Cassie, swearing:

“She will never carry a child in her womb. And if she ever becomes fruitful, I’ll never preach again from my pulpit.”

He also directly responded to claims that he had raped a 14-year-old house help, describing them as baseless and fabricated.

“I’ve never killed anyone, and I’ve never raped a 14-year-old girl for power as Cassie alleged to Nana Yaw. Enough of these lies that tarnish people’s names. I seal this in pain and truth.”

Cassie, however, did not take the latest attack lightly. In a new video shared online, she appeared with an unknown man who responded with counter-curses, claiming to use Ogyaba’s own “anointing” against him.

“I will not curse Ogyaba with an egg—I curse him with his anointing,” the man said. “And to all those women falsely accusing Cassie of not having a womb, I curse you with thunder, water, and the earth.”

The renewed drama has sparked widespread debate on social media, with many calling for the two to take the matter off public platforms and resolve their issues privately.
