In November last year, gospel singer, Francis Kofi Blewusi Dedzi, popularly known as Pastor Kofy broke his 17 years silence when he hosted his debut concert, Ghana’s Praise Experience at the Oil Dome, Royal House Chapel in Accra.
The concert was thought to be an announcement of his comeback to music and it certainly gave him some good leverage on the gospel music scene.
And six months after, Pastor Kofy doesn’t intend to keep a low profile anymore. He is out with a new song titled, I’m Burning.
The song’s lyrics speak to the fire of passion and purpose that burns within, urging listeners to let their faith ignite and guide them through life’s challenges.
In these times, I’m Burning, is considered timely with Pastor Kofy delivering a message of hope and perseverance.
“This song is fueled by faith and inspired by the unshakeable promises of God’s Word among which include Isaiah 54:17 which states that, ‘No weapon forged against you will prevail’ . The song is a powerful declaration of trust, resilience, and victory over all,” he said.
At Ghana’s Praise Experience, it was an unforgettable night of worship and praise, which brought together an impressive lineup of old faces such as Pastor Josh Laryea and Kwaku Gyasi.
“I will say that the event went a long way to boost my image after the long break after Mentor 2 music reality show where I placed second. I’m back for good and it’s only right that I maintain a good presence.
“I’m Burning is my first song this year and it’s to encourage Christians to know the promises and power of God and how to walk in them,” he stated.
Pastor Kofy told Graphic Showbiz that he will soon be embarking on his Senior High School Campus Evangelism Tour to teach the students the positive way of life through music.
