“Your Album Will Be Nominated Soon, Stop This Chasing Clout”-Fan Slams Stonebwoy For Bragging Over His Indirect Grammy Nominations

A social media user has taken a swipe at the Bhim Nation President, Livingstone Etse Satekla, well known as Stonebwoy for tweeting and bragging about his nominations at the 64th Grammy Awards.

The Recording Academy announced the nominations for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards yesterday. Rocky Dawuni, a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and record producer who performs his signature ‘Afro Roots’ sound secured his second nomination in the award scheme as his album ‘Voice of Bunbon Vol.1″ was nominated in the Best Global Music Awards category.

Stonebwoy also managed to score three nominations as three albums he was featured on bagged nominations last night. According to the Recording Academy, Stonebwoy was acknowledged for his appearance as a featured artist on three albums published in the previous year that “included at least 51 percent playing time of new reggae recordings.” Etana’s “Pamoja,” Sean Paul’s “Live N Livin,” and Jesse Royal’s “Royal” all received nominations in the “Best Reggae Album” category.

Stonebwoy announcing his nomination took o his Twitter and wrote; And At the @RecordingAcad@stonebwoy features on 3 Albums Out of 5 To Get Nominated.. should Either of the albums Win… Do The maths.. #Ghana#BhimNation

Well, a social media user who sounded like a fan of Stonebwoy predicted that Stonebwoy will one day have his album nominated by the Recording Academy, hence he should quit the clout chasing by bragging about the nomination on Twitter.
