Davido Should Run For House Of Reps In 2023 – Activist Deji Adeyanju

Nigerian activist Deji Adeyanju has urged Nigerian musician Davido to run for House of Reps in 2023.

This comes after the singer asked for donations from his friends, fans and colleagues ahead of his 29th birthday. He created a new bank account and asked his friends to show love by crediting his account. He was able to raise about 200 million which he promised to give it all away.

After his birthday, he shared a screenshot of addition of N50 million to his already garnered N200 million which has vowed will be sent to all orphanages across the country.

Reacting to his gesture, Deji Adeyanju has asked Davido to run for House of Representatives come 2023 because he has a kind heart and thinks about the less privileged.

He wrote on his Instagram page today;

”Happy birthday OBO Baddest @davido. I appeal to you to run for House of Reps in 2023 because you care about the people and know what the issues are. The N250m donation to the less privileged is a further justification of this assertion.”

In other news, Femi Adesina, President Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, has stated that the Federal Government will only address aspects of the Lagos Judicial Panel on Police Brutality’s White Paper findings that interests it.

This was stated by Adesina during an interview on Channels Television this morning, November 22, when describing the Federal Government’s response to the situation.

“What would happen is that when the states come up with pronouncements on that panel report, that would then be of interest to the Federal Government.

Definitely, when the reports come out the ones that are Federal in nature will be considered. There are some things that would be Federal in nature, the Federal Government would tackle that but things that are state in nature, the state government will handle.

There is an Attorney General of the Federation who will advise and the needful would be done,” Adesina said

However, according to the presidential spokesperson, he is not sure if some states that have completed their investigations are yet to submit their results to the federal government.

“I am not quite sure of that, but I know that areas that would affect the Federal Government will be looked into by the Federal Government.”he said
