AFCOM missions donates to Koforidua school for the deaf; pledges to complete abandoned washroom – Nsemkeka
The All for Christ Outreach Ministry worldwide ( AFCOM missions) has donated food items, toiletries, football jerseys, and an undisclosed sum of money to the Koforidua School for the Deaf.
AFCOM missions also revealed plans to renovate an abandoned washroom and replace wooden beds with metal ones following a request by school authorities.
The leader of AFCOM in the USA and Ghana, Rev. Ernest Agyapong, who led the team for the donation, expressed worry about the unhygienic state of the school’s washroom and promised swift action to improve conditions in the school.
After supplying the school with wooden beds some years ago, Rev. Ernest Agyapong indicated his outfit’s readiness to upgrade them to deal with bedbugs.
He was grateful to the church members both in the USA and Ghana, as well as other individuals who have been great pillars in his philanthropic journey.
Rev. Ernest Agyapong urged others to emulate his gesture and support the school to help deal with the many challenges facing the educational institution.
On her part, the headmistress of the school, Joyce Adu Agyeman, commended Rev. Ernest Agyapong and the entire members of AFCOM Worldwide for their support over the years and also pledged to use the donation for the intended purpose.
She appealed to individuals, NGOs, religious groups and corporate bodies to periodically come to the aid of the school.
