Anne Daly’s NHIA Board appointment revoked – Nsemkeka

President John Mahama has revoked Anne Sansa Daly’s appointment on the Board of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

This follows concerns about her lack of a valid license to practise medicine in Ghana.

Prof. Dr. (Med) Ernest Yorke has been nominated to replace Mad. Daly with immediate effect, per a letter from the Presidency.

Consequently, Prof. Yorke is expected to be officially sworn in at a ceremony soon.

Reports say the decision was prompted by backlash over her representation as a medical doctor despite not being licensed to practise locally.
